Cigarette From Robayan & Monel From Kriyan

This is a new pledge from Jepara community  to sustain their economy. In fact, the small scale industry has been long  in Jepara. Originally only in this industry do in the Kalinyamatan District, such as in the village Robayan, Purwogondo and surrounding  this areas. However, since 2002, its development  so rapidly, thousands of new worker can be channeled to the industry. This micro industry then spread to many villages, and have been penetrated in the district Pecangaan, Welahan, even spread into Jepara as North Mlonggo and Keling. The last two districts are starting a new stage. 

A simple production process  to be benefits of this industry it self. From a simple process, production costs can be pressed, also tax imposed is very small. This fact make the price of cigarettes to be very low. Not surprisingly, cigarette market has retired, and different from the famaous brand costumer. In addition on Java island , many brand cigarette from Jepara now has penetrated the outside  of Java such as Sumatra and Kalimantan. 
In 2001, the industry  still hire by 5189 workers in 138 business units with  value production reach Rp.69, 8 billion. However, in 2003, have recorded 327 business units that able to hire 8.914 labours. 


Monel From Kriyan Village

Until 2004, there were 124 existing business unit that invested the money of Rp. 310 million to create the aksesories raw material monel.
